The Adult Professional, Graduate and Online Student Orientation is designed to introduce new non-traditional students to our campus community. The program allows new students to learn about the various services, programs and activities as well as to meet with important representatives of the campus that will help make their transition successful.

SJNY Smart Start Workshop
Students will hear about security information, technology and tips on how to be successful at SJNY:

  • Office of Career Preparation and Professional Development
    • Resources that are available to all students.
  • Thomas Tzimorotas, Director of Security
    • Security resources and how to your parking permits.
  • Lichele Lucatorto, Director of Client Services
    • An overview of the MYSJNY Portal and Canvas.
  • Amy Thompson, Director of Financial Aid
    • Financial Aid Resources

How to obtain your Student ID, Orientation Information, Program Summary:

Immediately following the program, students can meet with office representatives to ask last minute questions, obtain their parking permit from Security, or visit the Bookstore.

All student attendees will receive a gift for attending this program. All student attendees will entered into various raffle drawings. Come to the event to see if you win!
